Photo Challenge Day 26: Sparkling

A macro, out-of-focus shot of my glitter nail polish. Stuff is a killer to get off! Love the way the light reflects rainbows.
Also, this:
An old pic, and not as sparkly as you might expect, but I think it goes along with today's challenge.

Glitter really isn't my thing, but I love peacock feathers and I thought to myself "Self, shiny feathers are close enough to 'sparkling.'"

Photo Challenge Day 25: Multifarious

I'm fairly positive that a piano is one of the most complicated instruments in the entire universe. So. Many. Parts!

I don't even know how watches are made, or work. Needless to say, there are plenty of parts.

Photo Challenge Day 23: Musical

Once upon a time I used to play this thing. :)

I've never played the trumpet, but it's by far, one of my favorite instruments to look at

Photo Challenge Day 22: Old Fashioned

We moved Day 22's word "Old Fashioned" to today because our sister got married yesterday! Congratulations to Leila and Sky!
Love!

Now, Old Fashioned.
The rose is 35 million years old. Who knew?!

Photo Challenge Day 8: Shoes

These are a pair of boots that belong to my brother (I stole them while he wasn't home, haha). All the colors together looked way cool.

Shoes. Who doesn't love shoes?
These old, satin, yellowing shoes belonged to my great-grandmother, fondly known as, Gram. So dainty.

Photo Challenge Day 7: Black and White

A picture of my very old, dusty, Minolta camera. The first camera I ever owned! It was given to my dad, who then gave it to me.

Photo Challenge Day 5: Micro/Macro

Thistles: they are the queen of all weeds. A lot of people hate them, but I think they are so pretty! Most of them have exploded into seeds like the ones above.

I was in my dad's workshop and I was looking for something completely different and this wrench caught my eye. I obviously thought it was awesome enough to photograph.

Photo Challenge Day 3: Books

This stack of text books range from the age of 50 years, to 100 years. Pretty Old.

Fairy-tales and Folklore. Supposedly, Einstein said, "If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales." Even if he didn't say that, I love it all the same. These books are [top] A Treasury of American Folklore (1921) edited by  B.A. Botkin. [bottom] Children's Literature (1944) edited by Charles Madison Curry & Erle Elsworth Clippinger.

Photo Challenge Day 2: Favorite Color

I always say that my favorite color is "the rainbow", but today, they are pink and a shade of greeny-blue. I couldn't choose between the two!

Blue is definitely my favorite color. I don't think there is even a day that goes by that I don't wear it.
